This residence was built from the ground up. Starting with a piled and elevated foundation, raised 28'x 32' wood house, and complete interior design and construction.
The foundation was piled with 8" PVC pipes filled with steel rebar and filled with concrete and sunk to depth of 20 feet. The elevated foundation was raised 4 feet for any flooding from tropical storms.
The building sits on 8" wooden posts raised to 10 feet for better views and constant tropical breeze.
The wooden house was completed with windows installed, stained exterior, waterproofed interior walls, drywall installed, and designed and built a custom kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.
The Edwards residence was elevated 10 feet to accommodate a first floor storage construction in phase 2, scheduled for later in 2026.
The house is a wooden 28'x32' building withan open floorplan. The interior includes varnished hardwood floors, custom bathroom and custom kitchen and open air veranda. There is also a rooftop deck planned in the future.
Gringo construction stained the house and also oversees sand fill and yard maintenance.

We started with clearing the lot and brought in alot of sand fill. Then we built a concrete property fence, with wood panels. We stained the fence and installed a front gate for security and privacy. Then we prepared for the foundation.
The foundation consisted of 30 PVC piles filled with steel and concrete, and piled to 20 feet. The foundation was elevated to 3 feet for flood prevention. We also construced 30 concrete posts to elevate the houses.
A storage and extra rooms were constructed underneath one of the houses for golfcart storage and spare room.

We added a front veranda with roof and a wrap around side verandas. We built an 6'x26' added room to the existing house.
We built the foundation first, piling and elevating the foundation slab. The concrete building was 16'x22'.
We build an 8'x 8' greenhouse for the owner most recently as ongoing projects continue.

We started with 18, 14" x 14" concrete piles to 20 feet deep. We elevated the foundation four feet high and poured the columns and beams
The spiral stairs was a custom design for the concrete house. It reaches up to the first level and second level as well.
The concrete house is 2,000 square feet. Open kitchen and living area, and wrap around veranda. The second level to be completed at a later date.
